TRAVESÍA-REGATA PUERTO COLÓN – MARINA DEL SUR
El lunes 1 de mayo tuvo lugar la primera regata entre Puerto Colón y Marina del Sur. Hubieron dieciséis veleros inscritos que vinieron no sólo de Puerto Colón, sino también de Santa Cruz, La Gomera, Los Gigantes y San Miguel. La carrera fue seguida abordo de las zodiacs de Power Jet ski y el catamarán Freebird con jueces, patrocinadores, VIPs, prensa y ganadores de los sorteos realizados. Todo el evento fue filmado con drones y sin duda contará con imágenes asombrosas.
La emocionante partida fue un gran espectáculo donde los barcos viraban habilidosamente para logar una buena salida. El bocinizo de partida fue las 12:34min con vientos favorables hacia Marina del Sur. Allí viraron nuevamente alrededor de la boya localizada a 100mts de la torre de control y regresaron a Puerto Colón.
En este punto de la carrera los vientos se calmaron y los barcos comenzaron a caer en sus posiciones finales. El primero en cruzar la línea de llegada fue «Maeña7» que llegó después de sólo tres horas! El premio fue de tres noches para dos personas en el Hard Rock Hotel. En segunda posición el «Soñador» que ganó vuelta de helicóptero por Helidreams helicopters. Tercero, cuarto y quinto fueron Ocean, Caimán y Moredo con premios de Hard Rock Café, Oriental Monkey y Miishi Sushi que ofrecieron cena para seis personas. La ceremonia de premios tuvo lugar en el Pool Center de Puerto Colón con catering ofrecido por RestSur.
Placas conmemorativas fueron entregados a todos los veleros participantes por Adolfo Ferrera, concejal de deportes de Adeje, quien felicitó a Lorena Cabrera por la organización y ofreció más apoyo para la siguiente edición.

On Monday 1st of May the first ever Regatta between Puerto Colón and Marina del Sur took place. There were sixteen inscribed sailboats who came from not only Puerto colon but also, Santa Cruz, La Gomera, Los Gigantes and San Miguel. The race was followed by Power Jet ski zodiacs and the Freebird catamaran with judges, sponsors, VIPs, Press and raffle prize winners onboard. The whole event was filmed with drones and will certainly feature amazing footage.
The exciting departure was definitely a sight to see where the boats tackled for a good departure at 12:30 with favorable winds towards Marina del Sur . There they tackled again around a buoy located at 100mts from the control tower and returned to Puerto Colón. At this point in the race the winds calmed down and the boats began to fall into their final positions. The first to cross the finishing line was “ Maeña7” that arrived after only three hours! The prize was three nights for two people at the Hard Rock Hotel. In second position the “Soñador” who won Helidreams Helicopter rides. Third, fourth and fifth were Ocean, Caimán and Moredo with prizes from Hard Rock Café, Oriental Monkey and Miishi Sushi who all offered dinner for six people. The award ceremony was held at the Pool Center in Puerto Colón with catering from RestSur.
Trophies were handed out to all the participating sailboats by Adolfo Ferrera, Adeje sports councilor who publicly congratulated Lorena Cabrera for the organization and offered up more support from the council for next year´s Regatta.

El 1º de Mayo se celebrará la Primera Travesía-Regata entre Puerto Colón y Marina del Sur, Las Galletas.
Los veleros se dividirán en dos o más categorías.
El recorrido es de Puerto colón – Marina del Sur – Puerto Colón
Reunión de Patrones inscritos: 30 Abril 17:00h en el Bar Rewind, 1ª Planta Puerto Colón
1º de MAYO
Salida: 12:30h Puerto colón.
HORA LLEGADA APROX: 16:30h
Hora límite de llegada 18:00h
Entrega de Trofeos: 19:00h / POOL CENTER en Puerto Colón
